From the road known as Castlemain (the turning off the A303 by the Eagle Inn opposite the Chard road) turn off at Keymer Cottage towards Buckland St Mary then take the first right, downhill, towards Blindmoor. After about 1/4 mile turn right off Blindmoor lane into a bridleway next to a house called Little Thatch (not thatched, big touring caravan outside). Please do not stop at this house to ask for directions. It’s not mine and I don’t wish to irritate the occupants.
Follow the track for about 130m, through the metal gate and Mower Meadow is on your left.
BY public Transport
The nearest train station is Taunton.
From the station you can walk or catch the number 1 bus to the town centre (Castle Green). From Castle Green you can catch the number 99 bus towards Chard and get off at Buckland St Mary Church. From there it is a 5-10 minute walk along Pound Lane to Blindmoor Lane, turn left and then right (by the house called Little Thatch) down the bridlepath to my field.
If the buses are not running I may be able to collect you from Taunton Station.
